Google has began sales of it’s new product “Google glasses” as of Tuesday but also the company has some restrictions and rules guiding the use of the glasses as it has banned users from ever reselling or lending the glasses to anyone,although you could give it out as gifts.
According to the company’s term of sales it states:
“You may not resell, loan, transfer or give your Device to any other person. If you resell, loan, transfer or give your device to any other person without Google’s authorization, Google reserves the right to deactivate the Device, and neither you nor the unauthorized person using the Device will be entitled to any refund, product support or product warranty.”
With google the starting price for this item was $1500 as its original cost but shot up to $16,000 on ebay and the they had to remove it from it’s website for violating its “pre-sale listing policy”.
For a very long time Google has been at the very top in search level domain with very few competitors who are finding it hard to get hold of the companies success but now Google has outlined a plan to create a dotless domain open for use by any search company.
Google outlines this in a letter that it would opt to use the “Search” domain in a slightly quick new way,which would be a dotless domain(http://search).
With similar ideas also for domains like .app,.blog and .cloud,in each case the domains would be a springboard for whatever service the user chooses.
Apple has reportedly offered Yahoo a partnership deal on weather and finance data pre-load on Iphone,but Yahoo and Apple are in deep talks to get more integrated.
